And this is the fundamental of the  belief that tomorrow must better than today  and today is better than yesterday. The Sankha-Dana  Sankha means the group of monks or the  whole monks. Da-na or ta-na means giving.  Sankha Dana is to give the needed items to  any of monk whom happens to pass by and  the dana is not belong only to that monk.  The monk must give the pack of items to  the monastery he belongs to.   The rain-robe Every monk owns only two sets of three  robe called “Pha-trai” but in the rainy  season it must be a special robe to spare  and in the old time monk must tanks the  rain by himself, then only two set of robe  was not enough. And even today in the  remote area monk still do such a thing by  himself. Then giving the rain-robe in rainy  season is always in fashion.   The fish release It is to give life to the animals that are in the  fate of death or in the dead end of their life.  It should be frogs, turtle or bird or any life  that is in trouble or going to be killed.  Buddhism believes that we will gain what  we give. We give life is we gain life. The life  that is better and happier and we will be  free from any depresses for the better step  of life. But the best is to let ourselves do or  perform a good thing. Giving or Dana-  performance and to set any life free from  troublesome will soften the mind. That is the  main purpose of these activities.  To Explore the Touch of Lotus Petal Lotus is the symbol of elegance. The fragile   pollen is surrounded by neatly arranged  petals. Protected until the time is right for it  to grace the world with its charming  fragrance. Classified  as fit only for the gods of high heaven and sovereigns, the “Royal  Lotus” represents supremacy and purity  untouched by filths from the underworld. To arrange lotus into a bouquet held by Thai   vase is something tourists can experience  because lotus arrangement is unique only  to the Buddhist world. In addition to this,  lotus is characterized by large petals which  seem delicate but they are surprisingly  strong and versatile. Arranging lotus is an art often practiced by  ladies of noble backgrounds in this region;  hence we have included it in the program  for you to try by yourself or to only observe  if you wish.
